I recently became an illustrator for THE POSTERCHILDREN, a self-published YA superhero novel that focuses on LGBTQ themes, female empowerment, POCs, and minority issues. It's being written by one of my favourite superhero fic writers the world over, tumblr user @quipquipquip. It's gearing up to be both massive and magnificent. She's ADORABLE! I really love all the attention you gave her shoes - I know that seems like an odd compliment, but so many artists just throw shapeless masses on feet to serve the same purpose, and it always just looks awful. Plus, I love the way her toes are pointed down, creating this fluid line from the knee down.

oh gosh I am so DELIGHTED that you noticed the shoes because...shoes are literally my weakest point lmao......I can draw very beautiful bare feet if it comes to it, but shoes? especially shoes with clunky soles???? WHAT DO. I did try very hard with the converses and even though I can see parts where I still failed to do it properly I'm super glad that the overall effect is pleasing!! <33

I could tell right away what brand they were, so I think you pulled them off splendidly. :) But I know what you mean. Bare feet are nothing compared to shoes - it's something I struggle with too.
