My mother says these flowers only appear once every three thousand years. And we've got about fifty clumps everywhere round the house. It's a sign of something special and enlightening to be happening soon. I feel special. xD
EDIT: Apparently they're lacewing eggs...Oh well, they still are pretty. And science can't explain -everything-, so, maybe xD
EDIT 2: No, they're not! They look like lacewing eggs, but are actually different. If you look REALLY closely (can't see it in this photo) they have petals; and they do open when the sun's not too bright. Plus, lacewing eggs only hang around for a few weeks (right?) and after a while you can see where the little buggies have crawled out; we have some clusters that have been there for months and are still perfectly round.
EDIT 3: Actually, this lot are probably lacewing eggs, but there were definitely some flowers around the house--petals and all. This thing goes in scraps. I'll upload some of the genuine Youtan Poluo flower when I get the time.
